Prevention of prenatal exposure to alcohol is a pressing concern.
Physicians who work with women prior to and during pregnancy, have an
important role in asking about alcohol use, providing advice, and in
helping women change their drinking behaviour as necessary. This Program
provides important information on clinical practices related to
assessing and influencing alcohol use by women in pregnancy. The course
takes on complex issues in a brief and highly practical way, and
provides many links to resources and practice support.
